Wheelhouse Salon is a modern hair salon located in Birmingham’s historic theater district. From the day we opened our doors in 2014, we have been dedicated to making folks feel confident, inspired, and at home in their skin. It’s a place to be heard – where the mission is to develop relationships with our guests so that we can better serve them with hair that fits who they are or who they want to be.

Hair has been a passion of mine since I was a kid. I can remember “booking appointments” at school for home hair color in my mom’s bathroom. I also think it was then that I discovered my love for working with people and helping them look the way they felt. I began to discover and realize that God has purpose in all the passion and talent that He had placed within me – for people, to get to know them, hear them, and find out who they are and what they care about.
With every snip of the blade or stroke of the brush, I want to help people look how they feel. Here at Wheelhouse we’re committed to education, fashion, and the art of hairdressing. You can always expect our team to be up to date on the latest trends and have fresh hair ideas. I believe that by combining a love for people, hair, and creativity you can’t help but get beautiful results!
