We proudly sell Oribe, KMS, and KEVIN.MURPHY products. If for any reason you are dissatisfied with your purchase, promptly return products for exchange within 14 days of purchase. We do not provide cash back for returns.
No refunds are given for services. In the event that you are not satisfied, we will gladly offer you a “retouch” appointment. Retouches are scheduled like regular appointments and offered at no charge if they are an adjustment of the original service.
In order to receive a retouch, you must contact us within 10 days of your service and have arrived on time for your original appointment. Your retouch will be scheduled with the same stylist who performed your service. Don’t be shy- we appreciate every opportunity to give you the hair that you are looking for!
CANCELLATION / NO-SHOW
In order to secure your appointment, we require 24 hours notice to cancel or reschedule. In the case that 24 hours is not given, we will charge 50% of the booked service for a missed appointment. No shows are included under this policy.
If you are more than 10 minutes late for your appointment, we may not be able to provide the service for which you have been scheduled and a cancellation fee may apply.
Please be aware that any credit or debit cards used to secure a booking online, or over the phone, or stored on file, may be used to pay for your visit or charge applicable no-show fees. Saved card details with PhorestPay are powered by Stripe, which has the very highest security and Level 1 PCI Compliance. Neither Wheelhouse or Phorest staff have access to the raw card details at any stage.
Starting on Thursday, February 1st, we are updating our online booking policies and will require a 50% deposit for all future appointments booked online.
This will not apply to in-person bookings unless you and your stylist discuss doing a deposit to hold a special or large appointment.
This deposit applies to your service total and automatically returned if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment outside of our 24 hour cancellation policy window.

OUR CHEMICAL POLICY
We want you to have good hair and this means telling us about your color history: at-home box color, henna, allergies and medications, and previous chemical services. During consultation your stylist will set clear expectations for your goals, which may involve a series of appointments depending on these factors. We must be made aware of this information prior to your appointment because we care about the integrity of your hair. Otherwise, we cannot guarantee the results.
We utilize Vish, a color tracking service that allows us to measure color usage down to the gram. Every color service is accompanied by a “color charge” that covers the cost of what is used on your hair to create your desired look. Vish allows us to personalize the cost for every color guest and significantly reduce our color waste.
Color guests may see a larger charge than usual if it has been a long time since you have been in, your hair is thick or long, or you are having a transformational look done due to the larger amount of color used.
APPRENTICE BLOW DRY
Services may be performed by an apprentice. These team members receive their training from our own senior stylists. In this way, we can ensure that no matter who you see, you will receive the same high level of service to which you have grown accustomed.
Wheelhouse loves weddings! To ensure we reserve the time needed for your special day, we require a non-refundable 50% deposit on all wedding appointments. Bridal parties must receive advance written permission from the salon to bring makeup stylists, photographers and/or caterers to the salon.
We perform wedding services both in and out of the salon depending on distance and availability.
